Tofino Vibes 2020 – Day 4 + 5

Welcome to the last part of my Tofino 2020 journey. If you haven’t seen the other posts – click here to start at page one.

To start off day four, Sophie and I headed over to The Pointe at the Wickanninish Inn. They have such an amazing view over looking Chesterman Beach. For brunch, I had the smoked salmon rosti, and Sophie had the kids chicken strips and fries, with a side of PNW sea creatures to color.

Then, we headed down to the beach for a morning of play. Chesterman had loads of tide pools for us to check out, and the perfect spots to just play in the sand.

Post beach fun, we headed over to Tofino Licks for some organic ice cream.

I scream, you scream, we all scream..

Post ice cream, we did some more shopping in the city and headed over to The Wolf in The Fog for a patio dinner. No fancy dresses this time, but we both had our fancy drinks with garnishes. The cedar sour was right on point.

The two of us split fries, garlic butter spot prawns, and their daily poke special. All, so damn. good.

Post city vibes, we headed back to our local beach for some shark kite fun.

Played on the beach, and had one final Tofino sunset.

With macarons we picked up from the city, and of course a summer sunset beer for me.

Our last day in Tofino, and breakfast was so good at The Pointe that we headed back there for round 2. This time, Sophie did the fruit plate with toast & jam, and I did the brioche french toast. So, so perfect.

And then we were headed back home, but not before one last stop at Wickanninish beach, where we climbed the biggest driftwood pieces we found.

And that’s a wrap. Tofino 2020 was an amazing mommy daughter summer vacation – even amongst the craziness of COVID-19. Anyone else exploring more of their own local area? Let me know in the comments below.
