Darling Sophie, is Wild and Three!
a pacific northwest flexitarian life
Raising a toddler while being a mom boss
With Christmas, New Years, Sophie’s birthday, endless shopping, holiday parties and planning for 1 week in NYC next month.. December definitely gets busy. My sanity may or may not be running on large volumes of coffee this month, but hey darlings, today I’m here to remind us fellow #momlife members to treat ourselves too during this season of giving.
My ridiculously tall daughter who loves to accessorize. Especially with hats.
Her love of hats has not been kind on my wallet. I cannot believe how fast a growing toddler goes through them. Thank goodness for beanies. This hat you see my friends, has been worn since 2015 – which is years beyond the average toddler fashion life cycle. I’m pretty sure it has quite a few years left. Floppy hats however, she has outgrown all child sizes. Yes, she’s not even 3 and wears my adult floppy hats.
Here’s to clothing accessories that last through all the seasons and endless amounts of wash cycles.
Especially when it comes to the Holidays. Sorry Sophie, you will be forever matching with momma for years to come.
As we get ready to celebrate our 3rd Halloween together, I’m flashing back to our last two.
Queen Bee and Baby Bee from 2015, and our Koala and Kangaroo onesies from last year.
Does your family wear matching or themed outfits at Halloween? Let me know in the comments below.

Boots, layers, falling leaves, crisp mornings, pumpkin everything and of course apple picking.
Apple picking is such a fun, family activity; especially when you’re supporting a local farm. We have a honey crisp tree in our own backyard, but as we went through those apples quickly we headed on over to Willow View Farms to stock up for some new recipes.
