Hello Tofino!
Grab a coffee, a glass of wine or a cozy cocktail and get ready to relive my 5 days in Tofino. This vacation was the first time I brought out my Sony Mirrorless a7 III. Such a beautiful camera, which snapped precious photos and videos captured along this fantastic mommy daughter vacation.
Hello Sophie, thank you for wearing your favorite dino mask in public places. What a gorgeous ferry ride we had. One of the simple joys of living in Beautiful BC.
When we arrived the island, our first stop was at Englishman River Falls. How gorgeous! Can’t wait to add those coordinates to the trail of waterfall locations I’ve visited around the world, running down my spine.
Our next stop was Coombs for snacks + ice cream. I feel like my 5 year old self would have picked out the exact same flavour. Like mother, like daughter.
Then off to continue the drive, (as Spotify cut in and out of reception providing interrupted sing a longs) as we drove through Pacific Rim National Park on our way to Tofino. And then we arrived. To a room with the most amazing view. Thank you to my girl Karen – my travel agent, who always does an amazing job at finding the perfect hotel.
After checking in, we had to make our way down to the beach. Salt in the air, sand in the toes. With a little bit of beach football and a glass of vacation wine with a view.
After soaking up some vitamin sea, we hit up the Great Room upstairs for some food with a view.
Headed back to the beach, played in the sand and then came back to the most amazing double soaker tub. So glad I packed LUSH bath bombs for each day. This lavender soak and a glass of Le Vieux Pin Syrah was the perfect way to wrap up night one.
