Hello Favourite Staycation Hotel

The Fairmont Pacific Rim is my absolute favorite place for a staycation – and where I go every few months for some much needed pampering. The Gold rooms are life, and complete with their own private floors, and private lounge with complimentary drinks, snacks and breakfast.

What a view! Those windows! To the left I had a view overlooking Canada Place and North Vancouver.

They also left such a beautiful birthday surprise to greet me with! The room was also so beautiful. I loved the wooden, PNW vibe. I also definitely enjoyed watching games on the mirror tv in the bathroom, from my deep soaking tub!

After settling in, I headed down to the main room for the night, listened to some live jazz, had amazing sushi and the most whimsical and fun cocktail as I unwinded, relaxed and soaked up the evening vibe.

After the most amazing night sleep, I headed down to the exclusive Gold room lounge for my complimentary breakfast, and coffee with the most perfect view (even on a gloomy raincouver day).

Then off to the spa for some pampering! No phones are allowed in the spa – but it is magical. I took advantage of a 90 minute massage, followed by the roof top steam spa and hot tub. Then back to the lounge to grab some treats to bring back to my room as I watched sports all day.

In the evening I headed down to my favorite restaurant – Botanist, for cocktails and the most delicious seafood dishes.How beautiful is this place!! Just being inside there makes me so happy, surrounded by plants, beautiful minimalist colors with whimsical, rustic and industrial elements.
